Abstract:

In this talk, I’ll give an introduction on quantum simulation based on programmable neutral atom arrays. I’ll first tell you more about QuEra and QuEra’s first cloud-accessible neutral-atom quantum processor, Aquila. I’ll then present a few examples using neutral atoms to study quantum phases of matter and solve hard optimization problems. I’ll end with some future roadmap for the neutral-atom technology and a range of interesting problems one can use the platform to probe.
